Swervin's Rear Disc Upgrade Article?

Does anyone know if Swervin has written an upgrade article on the rear discs he made? I'm getting a donor axle and while I'm at it I want to upgrade to some discs in back. Does anyone know of the info I would need to get this going?

B, I talked with Mike a week or so ago and from the way it sounds, the 85 has been sitting for a little while. Mike has been busy with other non-truck projects (deck on the house IIRC)...and I am not sure he finished the article completely since he was trying to iron out the pedal feel issues. I do know he will have a basically new pair of high flow cats for sale soon...but I will let him tell that story.

Hopefully he will chime in and give us the latest himself.

In the mean time, here is a TTT for ya.

what axle are you picking up? i tucked a 69 chevelle rear axle under my truck and put rear disc on from a 93-97 camaro. at first, i had rear disc from a 98-02 camaro, but then swapped it out to the previous generation b/c i want to stick with my 15" cragars... only difference is, my rear bolt pattern is now 5x4.75...

looking to hookup the proportioning valve for the rear axle this weekend and get the system bled out and see how it all works!

I'm getting a 12 bolt almost identical to the one under my truck now other than the gearing. I'm going to get it rear geared to 3.73 and all rebuilt drum to drum but was thinking about going and biting the bullet to change to discs if $$$ was right. I hope to have it installed sometime this summer gears setup and new springs etc. for the rear and would love some rear discs.
