Stepside Progress Report
Got some stuff done on my bed this week should have it to the media blaster by monday.
I built a raised floor, no more notch in the bed. 1/8 aluminum floor (still have to sand it and clear coat it). Wheel tubs off of a fleetside chevy cut down a few inches. 20 gallon fuel cell Yes, I'm going to leave the aluminim raw (but cleared) in the bed along with the fuel cell. Should look good with the New hugger orange paint.

Looking good man, I still have no bed in my truck but I plan on putting in an aluminum plate and then I am going to Line-X the inside of the bed. Cant wait to see another nice stepper finished!!

Man that is an awesome thing to do.......Now i wanna convert my bed to metal...and it might be cheaper than going with wood........oh the possibilities with steppies...

what are you planning to run for wheels/tires? got lots of room for some slicks!

Yeah, looking good.
Looks like you made an extra 7" or so of width less the suspension pieces to run some wide wheels. Are you linking the rear? How low are you planning to run? Got any pics of the frame to share?
