Newbie: where is the headlight switch?
Bought a new one, for the 71 GMC 1500: where does it go? Looks like it should plug in, but it's not at the fuse panel, is it attached to the headlight pull knob? It's raining (whine, whine) and it's cold ( whine whine) and I don't feel like digging around upside down looking for it! I need someone to put on new wiper blades for me, too ( just kidding on that one)
Thanks, y'all! |

yeah, it's under the dash. there is a little button on top of the unit - depress that to remove the knob & shaft. dont just pull real hard!

Upper left corner on the instrument cluster. It attaches with the trim ring behind the pull knob. The trim ring screws on to hold the switch in place.
