Installing Windshield in 1986 Silverado

I've had the cab totally apart to repaint and have a new seal for the windshield. I've installed the seal and the corners seem to not lay down flat, I'am hoping that the windshield will push out enought to make the fit good. Just wanted some feedback or suggestions/advice on installation. I did not use any lube on the seal when I mounted it to the frame, should I use lube before I install the glass? Thanks in advance for any help

If I can remember correctly:

When I had my windshield replaced, the seal properly seated after the glass was installed. They sprayed on a lube prior to installing the glass. They did have to wrestle with the rubber seal for a bit to get it to seat correctly. Once they installed the glass, they went around the seal with a black sealer (between the underside of the seal and frame). They didn't use any lube between the seal and the frame.
