I talked to the guy that has pressure tested evaporators and he uses 50 psi shop air. In addition he inspects them very carefully for signs of oil as a leak will leave oil residue.
I think that what he does is pretty adequate as he has tested several of mine and I have not had any problems. I will try the AC site tomorrow to see if they have any recommendations over and above the above method. Jim |
