Parting 1970 Blazer South Dakota
I am parting this 70 Blazer out.
driver 1970 grill, some dents, inner, outer, and hood latch $100.00 roll bar, nice shape $150 utility buckets, need covers, drivers may need foam $200 double wall top, decent shape, was smoothed $150 tub, engine, tranny, transfer case, rear ends, 4" lift $300 I don't want to ship any of these parts. I could meet someone part way within reason. I will be going to Omaha in May. This Blazer is pretty rusty. There aren't even rocker boxes left at all. The tailgate is trash. The windshield frame is extremely rusty. The hatch is gone. We started this Blazer tonight and drove it around. I put it in 4wd and it seemed to work. I only drove it about 200 yards so I can't vouch for anything besides that it moves. The brakes do not work. The engine will have no carb (I used my extra, and it will stay here - I will leave it on so you can hear it run). The transfer case is not a 205. 2wd is to the left and down, 4 low is the the right and up, and 2 high is to the right and down. I do have a title for it. This Blazer came out of Minnesota, it is RUSTY!! Gas tank is gone. Dash pad is going in my Jimmy. I will get more pictures tomorrow if I get a chance. The Blazer is at my brother-in-laws house.

I can say no to the gas tank and the strip along the top of the tailgate.
I think I may have an extra set of the brackets, but I don't think I have the hatch latches. I will check tomorrow when I get out there again.

I don't know what the rear is. I probably won't get time to tear into it tonight. I will try to later in the week.
I think the roll bar is aftermarket - I will try to get another picture tonight. I pulled it out last night but it is still at my brother-in-laws.

How are the inner/outer fenders? The RF looks like it was replaced.
Is the rear 4" lift blocks or springs? What condition is the rear floor in? Thanks! Paul

If your tear it down to the frame and want to sell the front spring bracket set front and back mounts, let me know. Its probably a ways a way from that much disassembly.

Paul - the inner and outer fenders don't look too bad, I can get you better pictures, I have not taken them off so they may be hiding some rust.
Rear is 4" blocks. Rear floor has rust, pictures to follow. Rod - I will keep you in mind if it gets tore down that far. tn- I do have all 4, they are cheap flairs though, not as nice as they look. Do you want more pictures? They would be easy to take off and ship.

c-1072, I do not have the brackets that you need
badpeanut, it is an open rear. I think the roll bar is aftermarket. It has 2 bars along the top. I will post another picture of it in the Blazer. I took it out tonight but I forgot to take a picture of it while it was out. Paul 72, floor pictures coming up. It appears that all of the metal on the front was replaced when the Blazer was repainted. It is starting to rust though. I will post pictures. If you are interested, both inner and outer fenders, hood, and core support for $125. Robb, the fender flares are rubber. Pictures will follow. $25 shipped. ScottH I will post pictures for you too, mirrors $20 shipped Roll bar and fender flare pictures

What color is that steering wheel? If it's blue and not cracked up I might be interested.

The shape is nice. It is a double wall. It was smoothed by the PO. I have another double wall as well.
I can get more pictures this weekend if you are interested.

I haven't forgotten about you, with the in-laws coming the wife has put me to work this week. I will get you pictures this weekend, but - I do remember that both inner fenders had small spots where they rusted through towards the front of them.

I can't get pictures until this weekend, the Blazer is 10 miles away and the in-laws are visiting this weekend. I may try to sneak over there though when they are here. I do have a hatch that is in pretty bad shape that I would let go for another $50. It has some of the hardware, and good glass. That price is only with the purchase of a top. I also have this top - same price - $100. Top Thread
