250 I-6 Intake/Exhaust gasket question
Changing a leaky exhaust gasket and cant seem to find one that fits properly. When i took the old one off, i noticed that there was hardly any sealing area on the #2 & 3 exhaust port and also on the # 4 & 5 port. The gasket seems to be cut out a little high on these ports. The # 1 & # 6 Exhaust are fine, and so are all the intakes. My replacement gasket ( Fel-pro # MS 9786 ) seems to fit just as poorly as the one i took off. Anyone run into this before. Anyone have another gasket number/manufacturer that will fit better than this one?

Tryed a Victor gasket. This seemed to fit much better. I never really had trouble with Fel-Pro in the past, but this time it just wasn't happening! Oh well!
