Confused

Does anybody know how you go about putting in a seal/bushing for the shifter bracket on a 79 ish turbo 350 transmision? Mine is leaking very badley... Thanx Brad

Been a few years since I rebuilt my TH350. As I recall you will have to drop the pan. Disconnect the linkage on the inside. Some sort of screw in stop. Take the arm off the outside and it comes right out. The seal just presses in. NAPA carries the seals. Had a 1-2 acumulator cover instock when I needed that. Saw the listing and diagram and they had part numbers for every seal on the tranny. This was not in their computer. They had to pull out the Treeware. Find the older guy that's been there a while and save the headache of dealing with the kid on the summer job that doesn't know how to use the books.
