68 with mystery wheels
I saw this ad and the owner states that it is a 67 but the vin says different.
It appears to be an anniversary model but I did not see the Custom or CST emblems on the doors. Anyway the owner states that the wheels were an added option, I don't remember seeing anything like them from the 60's they appear to be a lot earlier. They appear to be pretty wide to be very early though. Any ideas? http://www.gaspumpclassics.com/find/...JIVH2E9EIM5NF9

They call them artillery wheels and yes they are earlier. Look pretty sharp though.

That looks like a pretty nice truck you have there.
It's Definitely not a Custom or CST as you suspected. It's lacking trim around the windshield and rear window, Vinyl door panels and such. The seat does not look like a 68 truck seat to me. It looks pretty nice though. The wheels and hub caps, while not stock have a pretty cool retro look though IMO. My guess is it took on the 68 50th paint scheme when it was repainted.

ChiefBobber hit the nail on the head. They`re Chevy/GMC,too."War-Era" rallyes!Nice look!I want to see the whole truck. The main thing to look for on a 50th is the interior trim codes(don`t know`em). There could be a`68 Custom or CST in Gold/White thats a regular-production truck.Just wouldn`t have the Gold/White int.
