Spindle nut/Dropped spindles
I'm trying to install a set of McGaughy's 2 1/2'' dropped spindles. The stock axle nut starts but then stops like it's the wrong threads. The local parts stores can't find anything unless there's a part number stuck to it. Has anybody else experienced this, and if so, what's the right size nut, and where to get it. Thanks

I had a problem like that with my Western drop spindle. I cant remember what I did to fix the problem. I was changing from a 72 disk brake to a 73 up style. Mabye give McGaughy's a call. They seem like a great company to buy from. I would have got them if I would have heard about them before I bought the Westerns.
You could also stop in GM they parts guy there should have a idea what he is talking about.
