blazer book
ok im restoring a 1972 chevy blazer and im doing alot of rust repair and body work
 .is there a book out there that shows how every thing bolts up and where to weld every thing.its my first restore and could use any info you can give me.im going to be replacing allmost every thing so again a good body book or any info you can give me would help alot.

The factory assembly manual will help some, available from any board
vendor, but I don't think it tells / shows you everything you need.

I don't think it does either. but there are plenty of people on here that have been in your shoes. If you need more info or pictures just ask, someone will produce

The book is interesting, but missing a lot and a lot isn't correct. There are no part number or bolt/nut sizes - everything vital has been removed. A lot of the items shown are pre-production and/or concept. It will help you in some ways, but not everything. The LMC catalogs are usefull too as they have nice illustrations.

thats for the info.
i have alot of rust in the bed that needs to be ctut out and stuff.is is better to remove the pan or just fix it with it still attached?i have to remove all the body panels also.any and i mean any pics you can post up of removal of any parts or the install would be great since i am going to take it to the basics and build from there.how much does it normaly cost to sandblast?? |

i seem to remember that a member of the board makes/sells videos of repairing the rust on his pickup... this might be useful if i could remember who it was but i can't... maybe somebody else can finish this thought for me...

The board member with the how to video is Efabman, I don't have one myself but reviews on here say they are very good. Also, board member Gee Emm is undergoing a rather extensive rebuild and his pics and threads would be a good source.
