woohoo, parts are here!
It was like Christmas in May when I got home! Five boxes in all. Lots of goodies to keep me busy for the next few weeks. There is a set of drop spindles, rear shackles, polished alternator, 3" X-pipe and turndowns, Lokar dipstick, Holley rebuild kit, power steering hose, pair of shocks and a whole bunch of Moog parts to rebuild the front end. The only thing I had ordered that didn't come in is the rear sway bar.
And I got my control arms sandblasted at lunchtime today. He missed a couple spots, but nothing I can't take care of with sandpaper. Now all I need to complete the front end is a center link.

Wow, now that you are broke. Just kidding. Looks like you have your work cut out for you. Don't you just love it when all the goodies get there. I try to tell my wife-money well spent. That goes over not to well. But all in all, she is very understanding. (Most of the time) Have fun.

Nothing like getting a big ole pile of new goodies. It makes me feel like a kid at Christmas.
As for the wife. I try to convince mine it is better than buying a new truck and a whole lot cheaper. I say look, the truck is paid for and it's just a few dollars every now and then. Yeah right. A few dollars every now and then. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Anyway, have fun putting it all on.

That's my story also. Believe it or not-she say's "You are right". Like you said "truck is paid for" better going out and dishing out 30 grand or more and the 30 grand new truck will not turn heads as ours will and the truck is paid for.
