Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but I believe that PS pump & brackets are '73 & up. It would bolt up, and work, but you would need the later style(passenger side) alternator brackets, and long water pump.

huggercst:the pump was on the truck when i got it,so it could possibly be from a later model.

The motor when you got it did it have the laternator on the drivers or passenger side. Now that I look at it closer it does seem like the long water pump kind. I need the short water pump kind.
