Ok this may sound like a stupid question. I have two trucks a 68 gmc and a 67 chevy. I am building the 67 and trying to make it look original. The 67 has the coil spring type front end and the gmc has the leaf spring rear. Would the value of my chevy truck decrease if I put a gmc leaf spring frame under it? The other question I have is the gmc has a big back window and the chevy has the small. I like the big one better, but then it would be titled as a gmc, but have a chevy front and stepside bed, would this decrease the value any? I know it doesn't to me b/c it still looks original, but what about if I try to sell it?

Unless it's a high option big block truck in mint condition originality does not affect value nearly as much as condition.

I know many ppl would prefer the coils...better ride, and much better for a hot rod.
The small window is a 67 exclusive, and instantly identifies it as one, for that reason aline, i would go with it personally. You'll get used to looking over your right shoulder to check your blind spot when chainging lanes.

The big window was available in 67 as an option called Panoramic View.
