How to remove dash?
I have been trying to figure out how to remove the entire dash from the cab this weekend, but I have been unsuccessful. There are two bolts on each side and that looks like that is it. I have removed the windshield and weather stripping, but the dash will still not come out. Is the dash tack welded in places? I have seen these listed on Ebay before....did they cut them out? Any help appreciated....thanks....John

The dash is tack welded underneath along the whole front(I believe). You would have to cut all the welds.

You have to drill out all of the spot welds across the bottom of where the windshield was.

You can cut it under the dash pad though, quite a bit easier.

Those guys have it right. I just got back from Omaha. We were visiting the in-laws. If I was still there I would come over and help you get that dash out

You should take pics along the way and post this in the FAQ.

Seriously, when I was working on my old 66 Chevy, I drilled out the spot welds and then used rivets to put the darn thing back in again.
