Mike...the set-up I used ended up being really slick. I used a Z-bracket of a '78, which uses the rear pivot ball location on the block. The rear lcoation cleared my headers nicely. I used the frame backet off of the same '78. I ended up drilling a couple of new holes in the frame to mount the frame bracket, nothing major there. Next came the kinda cool part....I've got a 3" body lift on my Blazer, the clutch pedal to z-bracket rod from the '78 would have needed to be lenthened to fit right on my truck. When I started looking at it closer though and played with a few parts that I had laying around the garage, I found the the rod from a six cylinder 67-72 fit almost perfectly. I had to drill a new hole in the dash for the rod, but other than that it literally was a drop in application...no mods required to the rod....that was nice considering the lift on my truck. The six cylinder z-bracket to clutch fork rod was also a perfect fit. Although I had a little trouble at the clutch fork end just getting the rod retained correctly. I'll snap a few pics and send them over so you can see the set-up that I ended up using.
