I use to sell them and there a great tire. And there not to expensive. I was thinking of getting some 17s for my 65 and I was going with them. They accually will get some milage out of them. Bridgestone makes a great product. I sold bridgestone tires for 2 years and when the fusion came out they sold like hotcakes.

Yes they are and I think there H speed rated to 130mph so milage you'd be looking at around 50000 or so. How much are you getting them for? also check thetirerack.com They usually have good prices. I miss working for the tire store because dealers get a HUGE discount...when your the assistant manager/manager. I could get tires for 20% over cost. Check into having them siped for extra traction it helps TRUST ME. I'll show you pics later of my tires siped.

they make cuts or "sipes" across the tread surface of the tire. It allows the tread blocks to move a little more to make better contact with the road...

If you use the truck/car for racing where tires are slidding sideways and burning out then yes they will get tore up. I on the other hand have had my tires on my daily driven dodge pu siped and have 25000 miles on the tires and they still look new. Homever sold yopur friend the sipes didn't explain the intended purpose for improved braking, acceleration, and milage due to the cooler running and it makes the tire quieter by giving the surface of the tire more area to remain soft. On the handouts we had it said not for racing, but dirt track guys loved it. Do not use if you drive gravel/roadrace or high speed spinup. If you drive to the strip do a short burnout(real short) then you won't have a problem. I'll get pics tomarrow when it's bright outside. Many people I sold siping to loved it.
