61 LWB to 66 SWB Swap

Hey guys, need all the help I can get. Have a chance to buy a 61 LWB K10. Problem is I'm partial to SWB trucks of which I have a SWB frame for a 65 and 66 (both 2WD) laying around the house. Question is, before I waste the time and money, will all the 4WD components from the 61 frame bolt up to a 65 or 66 frame.

Probably. I don't think GM re-engineered the 4wd frames like they did the 2wd frames in 63, I think 60-72 are all real close on the 4wd. Brian

I believe that I would still measure the frame width on each one before I started. Just for good measure. Kevin
