Chrome plated wheel alignment shims
I know nothing about 2WD trucks. All my trucks are 4WD. I think these are alignment shims for Chevy 2WDtrucks. Got them with a project truck I bought recently. The plating is very nice and I suspect they must have been done for some kind of show truck. I ask the local chrome plater what it would cost to plate these and he said $15 a piece. With that in mind I am asking $100 for 13 shipped to your door or $7.50 each plus shipping. Also am open to offers and trades. Thanks.

Are you sure they are chrome plated? They look like stainless steel. I used to do front end work and we used to get them by the gross

Thanks for the heads up, I had not thought of that. Most stainless is not magnetic so I checked them with a magnet. They are strongly magnetic so I would say they are chrome plated and not stainless. Do you remember the cost of the stainless shims? Thanks. |
