Need Freebies
Anyone have any outer 73-87 tie rod ends that they would give me for shipping? The treads can be damage and the joint wore out--- need the pins. Don't ask why.
shipping would be to 75022. thanks dennis |

A steering end bushing can be purchased for 64-66 mustanges to use granada spindles with larger steering arm holes -- this same type solution would allow use of a 64-70 outer tie rod ends on 73-87 spindles. A solution may be to take 73-87 old tie rod pin and machine --drill/taper ream them to accept the 64-70 smaller end.
Just dabbling --there are a boat load of 73-87 spindles to be used instead of changing out the whole suspension saddle. |

I think CPP or ECE sells a tie rod that will fit the old sleeve and the later spindle. There was a previous post on this, but I am not sure when I saw it.

Could not get any web hits on ECE or CCP. Any added info on this? I have an email in to TRW-Moog to see if they have another model of tie rod for this kinda of organ donation.

Try Early Classic Enterprise (Ask for Stan, tell Rob Hartley said to call) and Classic Performance parts. You can also look in the FAQ, I think the post might be in there.
