65 Chevy, The tilt steering column is out of a 71-72 Chevy pickup. Not hard to swap, almost a bolt-in. Just had to buy a wiring adapter to go between the column and truck wiring connectors. A Chevy van column up to the mid 80's as well as some mid 60's Buick, Olds, and Pontiac columns will work as well. The trouble with using a 74 column is that, (1) it has the key switch on the column, Hence 2 ignition switches(2) If I remember right where it comes out of the dash it is bigger around than the original column.

squizzleboy, All that I had to do to make these seats fit the truck was to use some 3//4 square tubing underneath the front seat mounts. The late model Silverado buckets I think would be almost a bolt in because the floor pans in these old trucks are relatively flat.
