The "g" should also stand for graphite impregnated (in a black color). Should cut down more on squeaks.

4X4,
Do you think the red will squeak more? Rob

I should have said that the graphite is designed to reduce any squeaking. I haven't tried poly body mounts (red or graphite) on a 2wd, so I don't even know if they squeak if lubed a little when installed on a 2wd. 2wd frames don't suffer the movement 4x4 frames do or leaf-spring, A-arm, trailing arm, or swaybar bushings do, so if the poly mounts will squeak, it can't be much. Poly body mounts can squeak, but I know that as a 4x4 concern off road when the ladder frame flexes more than a 2wd frame does on road.
Is it worth the shipping to exchange? Can't say I know for a 2wd. I would recommend it for a 4x4 if the budget allows, but that's just my opinion. And I strongly recommend graphite impregnated poly for suspension locations. Lube, too. For instance, on my Land Cruiser, I have graphite poly spring bushings with greasable shackles and spring hanger pins that are quiet. The latter two are items 2wd truck users don't normally use though A-arms often have bushing grease points. Before that I just had red poly spring bushings and they did squeak, but that's suspension apples and body mount oranges. Just as unlike with 4x4 trucks, frame twisting is not usually a 2wd concern. So, I think I made my above post from my 4x4 perspective. Sorry about that. I sometimes forget that most board members are 2wd truck owners.
