Look in the Glove Box
I don't know what all the differences are, but if you want to know which one is on your truck, you should be able to look at the glove box options list. The brake option should be listed there.

JB6 Brake, power, disc, drum, 7200 lbs
JB7 Brake, power, disc, drum, 8400 lbs JB8 Brake, power, disc, drum, 10000 lbs looks like it depends on your GVWR. FYI, JD6 and JD7 are both listed as Hyd Power brakes with the same GVWRs as the JB codes. your best bet is to look in your glovebox for the SPID label, find the J codes, and run them to see what it has. then go to http://www.montecarloss.com/SSThunder/gmcodes.html and figure out what they mean. i ran all of them on my previous vehicles, found out some interesting information about them that i wouldnt have known otherwise. |
