Kudos to the board
Finished the HEI install on the truck last night. Went off without a hitch thanks to the wealth of information found on this website.

You will definitely notice a difference in power and performance.

yes, a noticable difference.........will probably be more when I install new wider gapped plugs..........045" right?

Do I need different plugs or a different gap for my HEI? I just put a new accel in with a new stock coil and new wires and its a big difference.

seems like I read a previous post that plugs need to be gapped @ .045" for HEI

That's correct. Points should have .035, HEI uses .045.
