I finally got my internet back after the hurricane. I made out ok with just some minor damage to my house. There are a lot of trees down in my area but most poeple did alright. However just about 40 miles east is a different story, toal devistation. Just thought i would let everyone know were ok in Houma La. Just glad to have my internet back.

Glade you made it. A hurricane is a very scarry thing to go through. In my Coast Guard time I went through at least 8 of them, the last one was Andrew when I lost my house in Miami then retired right after it. Hope more people came through it O.K. but it looks like a massive lose of life in three states.

Thanks
I just bought my blazer from a family in Houma a couple of days before the hurricane that showed up a couple of months ago ( don't remember the name). It stayed down there through that one. So of course I have been wondering how bad you would have been hit by this one. Glad to hear it was mostly only trees in your area. Thanks for the update.

Seriously, that is awesome, haven't heard much good news lately in relation to the hurricane. Nothing is harder to repair than life itself, glad to hear you are alright.

Great to hear!
Lots of others didn't. I have several friends that lost everything. I live about 30 miles north of Gulfport and we did ok. Here are some pictures if anyone wants to look. Link

Those pictures look alot like things here just not as many trees in the area, alot of roof damage. The company i work for had thier main office in New orleans. Now everyone is working in the little field office i work out of, it is a little crowded but we all have a job and a place to work, things could be a lot worse.
And thanks for all the kind words.
