Wasnt looking just fell in my lap....Best Score In Long Time, with Pictures....

My cousins boyfriend has been looking for a bbc to put into his 76 or something 2 wheel drive blazer, so he comes across a deal from coworker for a complete running chevrolet 71 3/4 with 402 and th400 that had all the a/c, alternator, and power steering stuff, edelbrock carb and it was rebuilt about 5 years ago the starter wire was loose on it so that why the guy couldnt get it started.the drivetrain is all he wants from the truck, so he gets with me and asks do I want the truck, whats left he just wants it gone from his front driveway, So I go over to see if its even worth messing with Im thinking before I get over to see it that its probably a pile of junk that I could at least sell as scrap, and plus I have got so much stuff already. The truck turned out to be a pretty decent rig with the usual problem with the sheetmetal, however it has a lot of redeeming qualities, just about alll sheet metal useable, great rad support, excellent inner and outer grill, all the ac stuff is there, bbc heat shields, brake booster and master cylinder, all the glass is in great shape all tinted softray, windshield no cracks or smoking, excellent tailgate, nice factory toolbox in the side of the bed,bed is okay, but bed floor no dents,16" rims, bad thing it doesnt have a tilt column, but it did have a factory tachometer, in other words I can use quite a bit the stuff, the only thing I can see wrong is the cab needs rockers and cab corners. But the topper is that it was FREE.... , will be picking it up by the weekend and stripping of all her glory, I have had some great scores in the past this possibly has to be one of my best yet....I will need quite a few of the parts to put my 71 suburban back together after the engine fire.

How much did he pay for it?It must have been way cheap.I would have bought a crate 454 and left the truck alone.JMHO

SCORE! What's the paint code for that truck? It looks almost pink in the pictures. Perhaps it's red and the digital color rendering is not quite right.
