Power Steering Box
I am in the process of resealing my power steering box for a 72 blazer. Does anyone know where I can get an exploded view of the GM steering box to ensure I am reinstalling the parts correctly.

You might try an LMC trukc catalog if you cannot find a Chilton's or Haynes manual. You can get an LMC Catalog free at http://www.lmctruck.com/chevy_truck_cat_page.html. If this doesn't help, I think I might have an old manual and could scan a few pages and send them. If you need this, let me know the vehicle specifics and I'll see what I can dig up.

Neither the Haynes book, Chilton book, nor the LMC catalog have a blowup of the steering gear. You might try the library reference section, in one of the Mitchell books (those are an amazing reference).
It might be in the GM overhaul manual. I don't think it's in the chassis service manual. |
