EL Camino Bucket seats??
Got another interior question.
I see that peolpe are using late model seats in their trucks, looks good, must be real comfortable as well. I like the looks of bucket seats. A friend stopped by tonight, he just built an el camino out of three cars. We were talking and he told me he had a couple of bucket seats that might fit in my truck. They are a mess, so can't really picture them in there condition. I know I can make fit, but was thinking they might be a bit small size wise for the size of the cab. Has anyone used or heard of anyone that used car buckets? Thanks!! |

You would need to build new braces. Elcamino seats are the same as GM's midsize cars(malibu, montecarlo and a few others...) and only sit about 4 inches from the floor. The angle of the tracks is also too inclined.
If you could fit those seats on a set of older tracks it would work but that might bring on a whole new set of problems if the tracks didnt bolt right on. Goold luck with it. |
