Barn Door Glass Install Q/A

Just a quick question about installing the glass in the barn doors of either a panel or a suburban. It is just like the windshield right? Meaning putting sting in the rubber channel and then pulling it out and you push the glass in place. Right? Wrong? I won't be getting to this for probably a week or so but I thought now would be a great time to start getting answers!
Thanks in advance

Haven't done it yet.
It'll be a while before I put mine back in but, from eveything that I've read, the string trick should work.
Let me know how it works for you!
