Brake Lines...
What have you guys with lift's on your trucks done for relocating brake lines on the front etc? Is there a place to get longer flexible (braided?) lines? What have you done with the rears as well. I'm running a 2" lift FYI.

Skyjacker makes longer SS braided brakelines for our trucks. They claim they meet DOT certifications.I have the rear line in my dirty little hands:
RBL12 Rear Brake Line 68-72, 3-4" (longer than oem) My front lines are different than yours if your '69 still has front drums. For a <4" lift like yours it should be: FBL12 I purchased mine a year ago thru Classic Industries. Rears cost 44.95. Fronts $89.95. Gotta shop around more next time. Inline Tube also offers SS brake hoses. Just click on the hoses pic on the left to see this part # linked: "CT1008 Stainless Braided Hoses - Chevrolet, 1967-70 Chevy Pickup 1/2, 3/4, Blazer, Surb - 4wd, 3 Hose set, stock length, Stainless Braided, $115.00 All Stainless braided hoses come complete with the banjo bolts, crush washers, and the clips to hold them in place. Drum brake hoses do not have banjos or crush washers. Stainless Steel hoses are a perfect finish to a brake upgrade.�* They provide a high-tech appearance, while improving brake pedal stiffness.�*Stainless hoses vary in appearance from the original. The stainless braided hose is a smaller diameter and some of the end fitting detail will vary but function and fit the same as the original rubber hose." Inline Tube charges $5 per hose to add up to 4" extra length. They're also DOT certified. Other companies abound. Couple important things are to get the teflon core with kevlar sleeve for little volumetric expansion that provides responsive braking and to get them with vinyl covers over the SS braid for easy clean up and prevention of fraying of the braid. Most come this way. I bet the hose itself is made by the same company and cut & assembled by these hose "makers". Skyjacker no doubt contracts to have their hoses made with their name on the vinyl covers. I think I have another source that might be cheaper yet comparable quality, but I have to do some more searching. I need to make this info handy to me anyway.

Another potential source:
Crown Performance vendor They can supply the lines with your choice of color vinyl hose sleeves for a custom look. I've never used them, so I don't know about their customer service reliability. No idea on prices, either. BTW, many 4x4 suppliers carry Skyjacker's stuff, so potential vendor choices should prove overwhelming. Check your local accessories or off-road store that sells lift kits. One more thing. The rear, oem rubber hose cost me $50 at Carquest. I took it back for unrelated reasons to using SS braid, but I wanted to mention that I found the oem rear hose was as expensive as SS in longer lengths. The front, oem rubber hoses for my disc brakes cost $26, so they were cheaper than SS though, of course, not longer for lifted trucks.

Superlift also makes SS braided lines. I found they were cheaper than the Skyjacker, but that was several years ago. The SS braided lines made the brake pedal a LOT less mushy. I was shocked at the difference.

C-694x4, I see you have a thread on lift kits. Maybe the lift kit supplier can offer longer than oem SS hoses cheaper with the kit.
Of course, I advocate custom springs all the way.
