Muffler pics
I would like to see where everyone is putting the mufflers on a dual exhaust set-up. And maybe tell me what they are.
Thanks

Right before the 12" glass packs is an H-Pipe. Whole system is 2 1/2". Truck is LWB with a 2/3 drop.
I couldn't find anyone around here who does mandrel bends, so I ordered everything and did it myself.

Here is a picture of 2.5" flowmasters on a 1967 short fleet side. Exhaust carries all the way out the back, and has an H-pipe right after the tail of the transmission.

long tube headers, 3 inch collector, 3 inch cut outs with the caps off. with the caps on each side it goes to 2 1/4" pipe, then 2 flowmaster 40 series right after the cab, then 2 inch pipe exiting out of an old 3 inch exhaust tip in front of the rear wheels.

Here's my Magniflows. If you really wanted to tuck the pipes under for lowering the thing you'd need holes in the tranny xmember. Having to go under the xmember brings the pipes down low. |

Here's a pic of my new setup. Mine is not lowered and not likely to be.
