72 Frame surface finishes
Well, again I am still at it with the frame.
Got it to a pointe where I can actually decided my fate with the actual surface finish. I looked over my frame and behold it seems to have an undercoating on it. My C/20 was originally from Missouri; would it be factory to have a coated frame based upon the location it was sold in? Is this common, or what was suppose to be the correct finish on our frames? Again, mine is a 3/4 ton C/20 .... thoughts? Thanx!

Re: 72 Frame surface finishes
my guess is a dealer option undercoat. They probably put it on a rack and sprayed everything underneath.
