Best option(s) for sound proofing?
Aside from the very expensive Schoche stuff, what other options are there for sound proofing? Does the spray in stuff work well?
Any feedback would be appreciated, as the suburban I just purchased is very loud on the road. Its going to get some new carpet and a head liner and I'd like to take care of the sound proofing at the same time. My pickup has the carpet liner (black and white foam) and kick panel carpet, which seams to work well. Thanks much. ------------------ '72 GMC 1/2T 4x4 (current) past rides were: '70 Chev 2wd farm truck '71 GMC 2wd 1/2T 402 nice! '72 Chev 2wd 1/2T 396

A real good coat of undercoating goes a long way. You can also spray this stuff in nooks and crannys, and anyplace you could spray paint in.

Dynamat!!!! I have used this stuff all over and it is bar none. They make a spray-in but I have not used it. But if it works like the stick on sheets it is well worth it. Go for the Dynamat Extreme it is better than the regular dynamat. And I don't recommend the dynamat imitations (soundmat and others) you will end up scraping it off and putting Dynamat in.
