Newer Headlights?
Just did the headlight relay that everyone recommended. It's not that I don't like it but I've never driven my truck at night before so I can't tell a difference.
There was a thread a while back about the new euro lights. I've see a few on ebay and know that LMC sells a set(yuck!) Just confused about all the numbers(9004/9005) Will any of these work? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/69-80...spagenameZWDVW

Re: Newer Headlights?
Those are the headlights I have, H4 bulbs connect right up. Beware on those particular headlights, you have to trim the headlight bucket for the "city" light.

Re: Newer Headlights?
what is the story behind the tri bar lights? are they better than stock halogens or are they just for looks?

Re: Newer Headlights?
If you want better lighting (and no hype), IMHO nothing beats E-code (European) headlamps. Stick to known brand name lamps (Cibie, Hella, Bosch) and bulbs (Phillips, Osram, Narva, not sure which others). Standard 55/60W bulbs are all you really need, and avoid the hype of blue and HID-look bulbs. The lamps I mentioned are not the cheapest out there, but their quality is excellent and proven over time.
If you really want to learn something about lighting, with lots of great info and no BS whatsoever, check out http://www.danielsternlighting.com/. This guy knows his stuff, quite possibly as well as anyone in the business.
