Clutch linkage squeak fix
I don't know about others, but my clutch linkage in the cab has always squeaked. Last weekend I eliminated the causes by replacing the clutch shaft bushings, which I ordered from LMC. They were easy to replace by working through the removed gauge cluster opening. I was surprised that the 35 year old bushings were not in too bad condition though.
The biggest improvement was installing a brass bushing on the clutch arm, where it connects to the pushrod that goes through the firewall. I bought a 3/8 ID brass bushing, cut it to length, and drilled out the arm hole to 1/2". Shifting is now smooth and quite. This weekend I will do the same fix where the pushrod connects in the engine compartment.

Re: Clutch linkage squeak fix
Mine does too. I can't imagine why chevrolet built these without bushings there in the first place?
