Actually, after a lot of cussing and swearing, a real Aggie would say to heck with the truck and drank the Shiner. I ought to know, this Old Ag has been there done that.
But I had to quit drinking so I haven't changed my oil in about 10 years.

Re: I have defeated the !@#* Oil Filter!!!

I spent 3-1/2 hours removing one from a 6-cyl. Nova back about 1970, and I still haven't found the big screwdriver that I threw over the fence in a fit of rage. Where did you get that tool?

Re: I have defeated the !@#* Oil Filter!!!

I can find it a Wal Mart of all places here in AZ. Wally World is from down south so it makes sense. I too am found of the little town named Shiner. Congrats on the victory. I have had a few tough ones, but nothing like that. If it wasn't 3 degrees here I'd toast you with a Fat tire (if you like Shiner, try it!)

Re: I have defeated the !@#* Oil Filter!!!

When my family drove dodges (85 diplomat) and (87) dakota, both of them were so tight from the factory we had to use a hammer and scrwedriver to remove the filters and this was on new automobiles.

Congratulations, nothing like victory over automotive demons.
