Re: Good or Bad Vote Now

I think the truck needs to be lower for it to look right. When it's on a car...or a very low truck it gives the effect that the whole underneath is light and not just 4 lines around the sides. That said...i'm not a fan of it on anything. But I am interested on how you made it yourself?

Totally contradicting what I just said...I have a set of underbody neons from my old car back in highschool. I was actually contemplating putting them under my truck tucked up real tight so they wouldn't get hit by anything. Although the only reason I have for this is 1. because I have them and they are free, and 2. I would just use them when offroad to light up the underside of the truck in the dark to see what is hanging me up or what broke off the truck. Also this would get them off my shelf( i just can't make myself throw anything away that works) and if they break I would have an excuse to through them away..or they may be of help.

Re: Good or Bad Vote Now

first and foremost, good job on completing a job you set out to do. thats the most important part of any project

second, i think lights under "our" trucks look... well... "bad" in a (nice) word. leave that stuff for the rice racers

Re: Good or Bad Vote Now

The only thing I like about it, that it is a blue light. I don't really like the light effects. If you like it that is all that matters.

Re: Good or Bad Vote Now

Well you asked...why on earth would you want to make your truck look like something some pimp would be riding in?

Personally, I don't mind it as long as it flows right with the vehicle. One thing that really doesn't do it for me though is seeing the bulbs under the vehicle. You just need the light emited to be seen. That and seeing green lights under an orange car.

wite walls and fender? if done right that could be SICK. but with the lights....

and i wouldnt call it an "age thing". sure the lights are popular among younger people more than the older (but not old!!) folk. i think its just a "style thing". i'm 18 and cant stand that stuff
