Use the truck as a furnace!!! Run a hose from the exhaust outside, then run the truck to warm the garage. This way, you never are "working on the truck", your working on the furnace.
"You see honey, I care a lot more about you than the truck. I am going out to work on the "furnace" so you stay warmer. "
Try this line, see how much your life will be improved. Approach and terminology is EVERYTHING!!
