Drum to disk
Got a 65 GMC 1/2 ton that I'm working on and was wondering what parts from what make and model vehicle do I need to convert the front drum brakes to disk brakes.

Have you looked at the FAQ Submissions link? If you go back to the menu of different places to look click on that and you will find a section called (FAQ Index Thread) that has tips on how to do things like Drum to Dics Brake conversions. pretty much pull the whole disc brake front end off from a 70-on up 1/2 truck and the crossmembers bolt in also with drill a couple of holes.

If you use a after 1971 you will go to 5 lug. I used a 1973. Worked great on my 1965.
