'67 Power Steering
I have a friend that wants to add integral type power steering to a '67 Chevy C-10. He bought a bracket kit for '60-'66 trucks that he was told will work on a '67 and early '68 truck as well. The instructions say that the steering shaft needs to be shortened, but it appears that it might be the right length already. I know that the '67-up manual box has a longer shaft on it than a '60-'66. Maybe the shaft only needs to be cut on '60-'66's? My power steering '67 G.M.C. also has the mechanical box with a long shaft on it.
