Re: Whatever you do,don`t cut those doors for speakers
You know someone (smarter then me) could make some money by making little speakers that screwed into the Shoulder harness holes.

Re: Whatever you do,don`t cut those doors for speakers
I'm one of those who believes it is a sin to cut the door. I bought repo doors to replace my butchered doors. However, I'm not so sure about the glove box door option. At least it is not as expensive to replace it.

Re: Whatever you do,don`t cut those doors for speakers
personally, I'd rather have to weld up a couple small holes in the door, than to have the truck's SPID label ruined for ever.
Plus, that just looks 100% retarded. |

Re: Whatever you do,don`t cut those doors for speakers
That looks even dumber than them being in the doors!!! The doors i have for my truck that i got cheap, have the holes cut in them. I just gonna use them for spraying practice and buy new, pricey ones.

Re: Whatever you do,don`t cut those doors for speakers
A previous owner did it. I can't say that I recommend it a whole lot, but it is better than just the one speaker. I've been planning to move em down to the kick panels for a while now but I can't seem to keep enough money for all of that.

Re: Whatever you do,don`t cut those doors for speakers
Good idea but looks crappy. I was thinking two waterproof universal-mount speakers mounted under the seat.
When I was taking the plow off of my truck, I was pulling out the control box, an I found something dangling, kinda felt like pantyhose so I yanked on it, and probably a 25+ year old speaker carcass comes out in crumbles. |

When I was a kid my dad bought a used 68 that had an eq cut into the middle of the glove door.
