converting from sm465 to trubo 400
I have a 72 gmc that im putting a turbo 400 in. It has a sm 465 in it right now. I bought all the adapters for the transfer case and input shaft and so on. What else do i have to do to the trans mount and transer case mounting?
thanks daniel jones |

If its the same as the turbo 350 everything should just line up using the same brackets and holes.

i think that the turbo 400 is a little longer. Can you just slide the crossmember back? |

Don't weld it to the frame! What if you have to take it back out?
