i picked up a dual diaphram booster, brackets and master cyl. on evilbay awhile ago and i can't find the installation instructions .. if there ever was one

i need to know what problems i might come across ....so anyone that done this or something similar please chime in .... im a newbie to brakes

1 . im concerned i'll need a new proportioning valve
2. do i need to install the new master cylinder it came with or can i use the same one im using now ??
3. im worried the will be too much distance from the firewall .. and i'll need new brake lines .... ive read the faq on power brake swap .. but it talked about the thinner 1/2 ton booster not the fat 3/4 ton ...

The prop valve isn't an issue unless you're upgrading to discs from drums. The lines will reach , but it's a little tricky to get the m/c started on the booster(I did the upgrade with a 3/4 ton booster). The only thing that wasn't long enough was the brown wire for the brake warning light. If the new master cylinder and the old one are the same depth at the back (were the rod from the booster goes) then you should be able to use your current one.
