Anyone else see this 68 1 ton dually wrecker?
This looks like a pretty cool old truck. I've never seen a dually step side. (It's not real clear that this wrecker is in fact a dually) I'm not sure if you could get one or not. It looks like it was not available according to my 68 resto pac.
It must be at least a pretty rare 133 inch wb 1 ton step side. (Notice it did NOT call it a Longhorn!) Someone got a pretty good deal IMO. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eb...328558&r=0&t=0

Dude, that one's killing me. I'm really glad I didn't see it when it was still up for bidding.
Does it look like the step flares out a little before the fender? I think there was some custom bodywork there. [Pic is saved on Ben's hard drive now.]

I always hesitate posting Ebay links while the auction is in progress for fear another board member is going after it.

Theres like 69 chevy one ton out by my school. It's solid too!!! Mind you that where I live is Tri-State. KY-IN-OH. Only this truck is a flat bed but it has a real large boom on the back too. Its nice, its like a maroon color, w/ some surface rust. I'd take some pics but this is my forth post and i have no idea how to put pics up. I have a scanner. Any help would be appreciated. Brabra138@aol.com. Thanks.

Groundflyer,
Did you just re-list that truck on ebay? It seems there was just another auction for that truck again that just closed. It looks cool!

Hey Groundflyer. Glad to see you here. I am the same guy you emailed about the truck. Asking me if i wanted to buy it.
People, this man emailed me and asked me if i was interested in buying the truck. I had asked him a few questions about it when it was on Ebay. I told him he should post it here. I am sure someone will be interested. Looks real solid. Definatly different. Good luck.

Just looks like a 8 foot stepside, with some later model running gear thrown under it to me. There are two with duellie rearends. The pickup trucks with the fenders that stick out are the main thing that has the wide ones. MOST flatbeds and all wreckers that I have seen have the narrow ones. I have seen several short wheelbase trucks with those rearends. Most I have seen have the inner tubs cut out, tho widening them would be the correct way.
