FUEL INJECTION (TBI) or CARB
ok guys i have a 91 tbi 350 and don't know which way to go. i know that it will take to install the tbi - new tank with in-tank fuel pump and wiring harness. but what if i want a carb. will a manual fuel pump work on the 91 and what is the best intake - carb setup for that 350. thanks for any help

Re: FUEL INJECTION (TBI) or CARB
You will need to check the block and see if it actually has the pass-thru for the fuel pump arm, alot of the newer blocks dont have the hole machined out.
If it does, you will certainly have to add the pump cam wheel. As far as using a carb, you would really want to consider replacing the cam. The TBI cam is much different than that for a carb.

Re: FUEL INJECTION (TBI) or CARB
if your running an intank Fuel Pump for the TBI setup and then later want to convert you will need a regulator to turn down the fuel pressure to work with the carb if you don't have the ablility to add a mechanical fuel pump to the block, as well if you have the capabilities you will either have to remove the electric fuel pump/(shut it off) or pull fuel from another source. Adding the regulator would probally be the cheaper choice if you already have an electric pump.
