Intro

Well, I recently purchased a 69 GMC C-10. I have tons of questions and have started searching the forums for info and pics.
The previous owner removed the seatbelts (he redid the interior), emergency brake and rear bumper/rear lights. I want to add a rear bumper and replace the tail lights. He also changed the front end to resemble a chevy.
I also own a 2006 Cobalt SS Supercharged.
thanks,
Frank

Somebody went to a lot of work to give that truck a face lift. I would not change a thing if it were mine. That is a nice driver. Welcome to the board from West Tennessee.

yes they did...I just want the tail-lights to be bigger or brighter.
I noticed some nice LED's....that may be something to consider.
The fuel tank has me a little worried....is it advisable leaving it behind the seat...??

Re: Intro

I've never had a problem with having the tank in the cab with me. GM moved them in 1973 and everyone raised hell about side mounted tanks being dangerous in wrecks. If you're not comfortable with it in the cab then by all means change it. But like I said before I would not do anything to it except drive it every chance I got and be proud to own it. It's even the right color.
