Don't hold it against me but I was born and raised in FORD CITY, ALABAMA. It was Henry Ford was going to put his auto plant, until the TVA wouldn't sell him the Wilson Hydro-electric plant located here. the streets are laid out here just like they are in Detroit. We have Woodward Ave. just like Detroit. There are side walks that are in cotton fields that were supposed to be on the city streets until Mr. Ford packed up and went north. This area is now known as Muscle Shoals, there are a lot of recording studios here. Lot of hit records have been recorded here.
