Found a tilt column on a 4wd .........
At the self serv yard I found a 72 Suburban 4wd with a tilt column , will it fit a 71 C10 2wd w/o modification?. Real shame this suburban ended up in the place , it WAS complete and unmolested.

Re: Found a tilt column on a 4wd .........
Got it the 4 way flasher thing-a-ma-bob is broken off , but the rest is good. Also got pair of high-low horns , a clutch delete plate , and a receiver hitch.
This was a GMC 2500 suburban. It still has a pretty good pair of blue door pannels ('72) will they fit a 72 pickup ? , if so I'm going back for them , maybe to trade , as I have a 71. John

Re: Found a tilt column on a 4wd .........
Way to go Lakewood!!!The Suburban door panels are the same as trucks and Blazers.But,`72 door panels require`72 window regulators,or at least the longer shafts for the handles.

Hey Lakewood....
Was this a hatch/tailgate or a barn door burb? If it had a tailgate was it in good condition? Did it have the "chevrolet" emblem on it? THanks, Bill |
