measurements needed

need some measurements for the front cross member...so i can find center line of front wheels ...i have my truck to bare frame ...and no cross member to measure from..im installing a m2 front kit...thnks...

do you have the rear still in the truck? Frames can be a little off if you use the front of the frame as a reference. As you have found it is best to do it before taking the crossmember out.
If the rear is still in the truck you can use that as a reference point..........measure forward whatever the wheel base is, make sure the rear is square to the frame first though.

I have to agree. its a little late but either meausre from the rear axle or the rear frame horns if you have an assembly manual. Make very sure that the frame is square first and then make sure the rear is squared up as well.

This may help you. The measurements are for a 55 2nd thru 59 3100 so don't use them.

rear is still in ...i was gonna put a chopped xmember in ..but after cutting and fitting it wasnt low enuff....sold it ...so now i have a m2 from heidts....
