Need help on tire brand

I am starting to look at tires and need some input from others. My truck is a
'71 stepside. I am going back with the original 505 green color with white wheels and dog dish caps with the botie in the center. It will be pretty much stock. I'mm looking for a tire that will compliment the stock truck. Any ideas from anyone that's been through this already?

Thanks!

Re: Need help on tire brand

Yeah, I am running the 235's, would like to have some ideas of tire brand...what looks better, tread pattern, etc. I don't want a rough terrain tire, but I really don't want a sissy looking tire either.

Goodyear Wrangler GR-S 31-10.5 I got a set from my father inlaw( good used) nice thread, bit taller than 235's, look fuller in the wheel wells.
My 2 cents.

Re: Need help on tire brand

I have used yokohama tires for the last 11 years.
Excellent tread mileage, great in the rain, reasonable price many different styles, sizes to fit truck

I think BF Goodrich Radial TA's look good on our trucks.

Re: Need help on tire brand

I have the BFG Long Trails on my truck and they're great, much quieter than the all-terrains that were on there before but still enough tread to give some grip if you ever find yourself on grass/dirt etc
